At Bacera, sustainability isn't a label — it's woven into every decision. From how we source our clay to how we fire our kilns, we believe beautiful craft and environmental responsibility belong together.
Our commitments
Four pillars of
responsible craft
Responsible Sourcing
All clay is sourced from certified Vietnamese suppliers who practice responsible land use. We only buy from sources that prioritise soil regeneration.
Low-emission Firing
Our kilns use recycled heat systems and are scheduled during off-peak energy hours. Wood ash from our fires goes back into our glaze recipes.
Zero Waste Studio
Clay scraps are reclaimed and recycled back into production. Broken pieces are ground and reused as grog — a natural aggregate in new clay bodies.
Natural Glazes Only
Every glaze in our studio is made from natural minerals: feldspar, wood ash, rice husk, and local stone. No synthetic colourants. No toxic heavy metals.
